Burna Boy now the most viewed African artiste on YouTube

Grammy award-winning Nigerian artiste, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has hit a major milestone on YouTube making him the most viewed African artiste.

The Afrobeats superstar has amassed over 1 billion music video views across his YouTube channel in 3 years.

The “Dangote” hitmaker joined the American online video sharing and social media platform in 2018 on January 12th and has since become one of the most successful artists to come out of Africa, raking in 225 million views on the music video for “On the Low” and 159 million for “Ye” respectfully, a feat that simply affirms his position on the global music market.

He tops the list of the most viewed African musicians, just beating out other Nigerian compatriots, Davido, Wizkid, Tekno, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, and Runtown.

Burna Boy recently released his latest and third single of the year dubbed “Want It All”, with a joint production credit given to elite producers Smoke Ono and Sean Silverman.

The song is an introspective composition that highlights the star’s journey and how he made his goals a reality.

The video, created by Adrian Yu, chronicles the tale of Burna Boy’s journey to popularity through photographs, and it features some of his most ardent followers. The captivating visuals and track make this collaboration all the more fantastic when you find out the artists are fans of each other.

“I’ve been watching him for some time, and I just knew this had to get done, but it had to get done in the perfect way where the whole world gets to feel the reality of both of us,” Burnaboy spoke to Okay Africa about working with Chicago rapper Polo G.

I ‘washed’ my womb 6 times before I got Maxin – McBrown shares sad story [Watch]

Ghanaian actress and TV presenter Nana Ama McBrown has opened up on how her long journey to have a child.

According to Nana Ama McBrown, she visited a number of fertility clinics across the country before conceiving her daughter, Baby Maxin.

McBrown gave birth to Baby Maxin, her first biological child in 2019. The actress was over 40 years old when she gave birth to Maxin.

Considering her age, many Ghanaians were happy for McBrown and she has often shared some of the struggles she went through to get her child.

In her latest interview on the Obranewoaaa show on GHOne TV, McBrown revealed that she visited about six fertility clinics scattered across the country.

At each of these clinics, McBrown revealed that she had her womb ‘washed’.

“My $5,000 Per Instagram Post Statement Was Misunderstood” – Efia Odo Explains

Efia Odo, the actress, has backtracked on a remark she made about how much she is paid every Instagram post.

In an interview with Halifax on Peace FM, the actress and social media celebrity revealed that she charges $5,000 for a single Instagram post. She went on to say that it was negotiable.

The actress stated her remark was misconstrued in a recent interview with Zion Felix during the presentation of her new film, “My African Love.”

She stated that there is an app that assesses your Instagram presence and estimates how much you should charge every Instagram post, and she was worth $5,000 per post, according to the software.

It should be noted that this does not imply that she charges the amount stated. According to the influencer, she charges according to the client’s capabilities.

Efia Odo stated the most she ever charged for a single post was $3,500.
