”I won’t play the role of ’maame water’ in a movie again” – Vivian Jill Explains

Sensational Kumawood actress  Vivian Jill Lawrence, has vowed not to play the role of maame water ( mermaid or river goddess) in a movie again.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo Welewele on Accra100.5 FM, Vivian Jill stated that she would reject any ‘Maame Water’ script from any movie director.

Explaining why she’s made this decision, Vivian recounted her experience where a kid almost collapsed upon seeing her face to face.

I won’t play such roles again. A certain child watched one of such movies and one day upon seeing me, began screaming violently and fell to the ground.

She said.

Akuapem Poloo Arrested By CID Over Nude Birthday Photo With Son

Controversial Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo known in real life Rosemond Alade Brown has been picked up by the CID over her nude birthday photoshoot with son that sparked outrage on social media.

According to zionfelix.net, Akuapem Poloo is being sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit around the Ministries in Accra for questioning.

Backcasting, a photo of Akuapem Poloo went viral last week that sees her posing naked in front of her 7-year-old son who was only in an undergarment.

After the photo went viral, Childs Right International wrote to the Police CID to call AKuapem Poloo to order.

Nonetheless, the Ministry of Gender, Children and social protection also reacted to the viral photo saying they’ll deal with Poloo.

Thereafter, she came out to apologise to the general public.

However, the authorities would have none of that as she has been taken to DOVVSU’s headquarters in Accra for questioning.

Today Marks Exactly Six Years Castro And His Girlfriend Drowned At The Ada Estuary

On 6th July 2014, it was reported that Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Theophilus Tagoe, well known in music circles as Castro De Destroyer and his alleged girlfriend identified as Janet Bandu have drowned at the Ada Estuary while having fun with some friends.

Castro and Janet were reportedly drowned on the Ada Estuary while riding on a Jet Ski. The Jet Ski was however recovered after their accident but their bodies still remain missing despite the police’s search.

Born on the 1st of May 1982, Castro. Castro De Destroyer, real name, Theophilus Tagoe, was born in 1982. His debut album, Sradenam, released in 2003, shot him to public prominence and he followed up with subsequent hit albums including Toffee, Comm Centre, and African Girls.

According to The Evidence Act of 1975, Section 33, a person can only be declared legally dead after seven years by a court, where the person in question has not been seen or heard from in seven years despite diligent and persistent efforts to find him.

Next year marks the seventh year since the musician went missing and if there are no signs of him being alive and his whereabouts, he will be declared dead.

However, family members are still of the hope that the musician will return to them.
