Nana Ama McBrown, the well-known Ghanaian television presenter and actress, has revealed why she stepped up on stage to join Okyeame Kwame.

On the night of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, rapper Okyeame Kwame, popularly known as Rap Doctor, performed, his ex-girlfriend Nana Ama McBrown came onto the stage to perform alongside him.

The two had an affair in the early 2000s, and while fans expected it to blossom into the largest celebrity marriage at the time, it turned out to be the polar opposite when they split up for reasons we still don’t know about.

However, their mutual regard for one another has meant that they have stayed friends throughout the years, as seen by their stunning performance last night. Some social media users, on the other hand, chastised her for ascending the stage to perform with him.

Nana Ama explained why she walked on stage, saying she felt compelled to join the performer since the venue was dull and she wanted to liven things up. On United Television, she revealed her reason.
