Sarkodie complains about why the NPP keeps playing his songs at rallies

Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Micheal Owusu Addo alias Sarkodie in the minds of people is a staunch NPP.

This conversation came to light after the musician started to do political songs in his early days.

Majority of his fans who have pegged unto the various opposition parties on social media bash him at the least issue.

Today on social media Sarkodie speaking from the place where he and his family have been questioned after returning from the United States and this time.

He is complaining about why the ruling party, NPP are playing his song Ofeetso back to back at their rallies.

The rapper in a tweet revealed that he doesn’t know why they are playing his song back to back and according to him, the New Patriotic Party using his song at their campaign rallies makes people tagged him as an NPP supporter.

Ghanaian songstress Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, known in the industry as MzVee, has broken silence on the dirty games that are played in the industry to strive into the limelight, indicating that, the music industry is dirty.

Mzvee disclosed this in an interview with Graphic Showbiz and further advised the upcoming artiste in the entertainment to not rush for fame but for use the right steps to avoid ending up in the wrong place.

“Our industry is one that has a lot of things going on; everyone is fighting for fame so I will say it is a dirty one but in the sense that, the industry is really crazy so they have to be patient. This industry is really crazy, it is hectic, it is dirty so you have to be patient so you don’t end up at the wrong place or with the wrong people,”

“It’s competitive and people will do everything not to make you shine. Just like any other industry, people fight for the top spot and people fight to be seen instead of other people. I can advise them to be patient and they should just keep perfecting their craft because if they rush, they will crush.”

It seems Sarkodie is still taking some royalties from his ‘New Guy’ song featuring Acehood released years ago.

The ‘New Guy’ banger is Sarkodie’s fourth most played song aside his ‘Lucky‘ song featuring Rudeboy, ‘PainKiller’ with Runtown, and ‘Overload‘ featuring Oxlade.
