Captain Planet Explains Why Ghana Will Never Get Grammy Nomination

Published

on

Hip Life musician Captain Planet of 4×4 fame has expressed his opinion on why Ghanaians always miss out on Grammy nominations.

GRAMMYs is arguably the biggest music award and musician across the globe strive to be recognized in this prestigious award.

The 63rd Academy Award released its nomination for the next edition and Ghana is missing in the categories. Rapper Captain Planet claims he knows the reason why.

According to him, Ghanaians should be blamed for our music not crossing borders and getting recognized by such award schemes.

He opined that Ghanaians always label artiste albums as thrash and that is why the Academy board does not consider nominating artiste from Ghana.

“People are wondering why ghanaians dnt get Grammy nominations ? Your own people have already trashed your album on social media so how do you expect the board of grammys to even access something that your own people have already trashed . It’s of no use to them. #BlameAgenda” he wrote.

Nana Addo Saved Me When I Had Accident— Samini Reveals

Published

on

Dancehall artiste Samini is still trying all he can to convince his loyal fans and Ghanaians on why he decided to go the Nana Addo way.

He says he saved him, not directly but he saved him when he had an accident.

According to him, he was cycling all the way from Sogakope to the Mole National park and had the accident and could have had serious lifetime injuries had it not been for one of the ambulances Nana Addo released some time ago.

“The other day I was cycling and I had a little accident and we actually had a designated ambulance with us, We cycling all the way from Sogakope tot the mole National park, I had to stop at Dambai. The rationale here is that I don’t know when ambulances like that so we could have one designated to us”

He says that is why he decided to campaign for the NPP because he has benefited from some of their initiatives.

“But for that ambulance, I would have had a serious problem and I have a scar to show but there was an ambulance and it took care of me right there and then before they took me to the hospital. The ambulance is something I’ve experienced it and so I know if something is happening in some remote corner at least one ambulance is going to get there.”
