Vodafone Ghana Music Awards- VGMAS Officially Opens Nominations For The 21st Edition

Organizers of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) has unleashed a press statement to notify its cherished audience of the opening of nominations for the 21st edition of the awards scheme.

A Press statement signed by the PRO for the VGMA, George Quaye, indicates that Interested stakeholders are to pick up nomination forms from the offices of Charterhouse Productions Limited, partner radio and TV stations or download from www.ghanamusicawards.com.

Forms can also be filled and submitted online at www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com.

VODAFONE GHANA MUSIC AWARDS OPENS NOMINATIONS

Happy New Year to you and yours from Charterhouse Productions Limited, organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Festival.

On behalf of the Board, headline Sponsor, Vodafone and other partners, we are honoured to inform musicians, music industry practitioners and members of the general public that nominations for the 21st edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards are officially open.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, since its inception in 2000 has grown to become the biggest event on the Ghanaian Entertainment Calendar, designed among other things, to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication of the various players in Ghana’s music industry.

Interested stakeholders are by this release encouraged to pick up nomination forms from the offices of Charterhouse Productions Limited, partner radio and TV stations or download from www.ghanamusicawards.com.

Forms can also be filled and submitted online at www.entry.ghanamusicawards.com.

Completed hand-filled forms with copies of music works and promotional images should all be submitted to the offices of Charterhouse Productions Limited located at B824/10 Feo Eyeo Street, Industrial Area Accra, near TV Africa, not later than 31st January 2019 when all nominations officially close.

Soft copies of works and images can also be sent via mail to entry@ghanamusicawards.com.

Please note that only works released between 1st January 2019- 31st December 2019 can be entered.

I’ve seen days of hunger, anguish – MzVee details as she readies ‘inVEEncible’ album (Video)

Ghanaian songstress Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda popularly known as Mzvee has announced the release of her brand new album since leaving record label Lynx Entertainment.

The body of work christened ‘InVEEncible’ is set to be released somewhere in November, and fans are elated.

MzVee recently battled and conquered depression, bouncing back onto the music scene with one of the greatest comebacks in the history of Ghana music.

She has successfully released four powerful singles with high-quality videos to match, this year

Well, Vee, as she is fondly called has a documentary covering her growth process from family to fame.

She revealed in the video “the early days of my life were dark. We had to squat in a single room, six of us for six years of my life. I have seen days of hunger and anguish, teary eyes, and pain.”

Vee has said she cannot be touched, bullied, or intimated as the body of work will depict how invincible she actually is.

Miss Vera already has three studio albums to her name.

Akuapem Poloo Reacts After Escaping Severe Beatings From Her Rival

There is an embarrassing video where Rosemond Brown, aka Akuapem Poloo is being beaten by the wife of the man she ‘married’ weeks ago.

In a video that is fast travelling on social media, the unidentified angry wife is seen trying to beat Akuapem Poloofor cheating with her husband.

According to reports, she flew all the way from the UK to deal with Akuapem Poloo after seeing their wedding photos on social media.

She refused to accept that the video was shot for a music video no matter how Akuapem Poloo tried to convince her.

Reacting to the embarrassing incident, Poloo has blamed the man for refusing to tell his wife that it was just an act.

Taken to social media she wrote;

Oh God please hold my heart always🤦 @kingmondomusic you will pay for dis

How can you let your wife embarrass me this way😌 you’ve told her the wedding videos that came out was a music video so she left UK to Ghana just to do this to me wow wow 😩 thanks to somebody saw her coming and took a video for me I will everyone know about what your wife did today

Video Of Cardi B Facing Police Officers After They Arrested Her Husband Breaks The Internet

A viral video which has been spotted by our outfit captures the shocking moment Cardi B confronted the police who for a short while detained her husband, Offset, following a run-in with Trump supporters somewhere in Beverly Hills. The video has since gone viral.

Cardi B was seen coming out from her luxury Rolls Royce whilst her husband argued with the police officers who who dragged him out from his car when he refused orders in turning off the engine of his car. Cardi B was at her usual self as she was shouting at the police officer whilst her bodyguards hold her hand.

This is what she was heard saying; ”No no let me record it. no no no no. This is crazy. He’s not armed. My husband is not armed”.
