Hon. Adwoa Safo Unveils Why She Customized Campaign Picture On Maths Sets

Until Ghanaians are done with the Dec 7 General Polls, politicians will keep on chasing us with their juicy campaign promises. In this electioneering period, the Ghanaian electorates can only hope for the very moment the Jean Mensah-led Electoral Commission would announce the winner so that everything could go back to normal. As usual, politicians are trying all their best to woo voters to their respective camps.

In connection with this, the Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya who doubles as Deputy Majority Leader of Parliament and Minister for Procurement, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo, has labelled the addictive politicisation of items delivered to students in the country as a ‘catch them young’ campaign strategy aimed at capturing youngsters.

The baby mama of the controversial legislator for the Assin Central people [Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong] insisted that imprinting her campaign pictures on Maths sets and other items meant for students is a startegic and timely way of giving them an indication of whose initiative it was and who she is.

In an exclusive interview with renowned Akan television, UTV, on some educational projects in her constituency, she reiterated that she had shared Maths set and other items with her campaign pictures to students in her constituency and the motive behind it was to draw the students’ attention to her and the party she represents.

Giving a specific response on why she did that she divulged, “I’ve shared a lot of (Maths sets). When the children see (the pictures) they get excited…not all of them know (I brought them).”

When asked if the children are of voting age to be exposed to such politicization, she simply laughed it off by saying “catch them young.”

Adwoa Safo furthered; “In my constituency, my name has become a household name even children point at me when they see me…(I put my picture there) to also remind them that I support them in prayers”.
