Prophetess Sentenced To 11 Years In Prison For S3xually Assaulting Female Congregant

Published

on

A Zimbabwean prophetess, Juliet Masakanire, has been arrested for s3xually assaulting a female congregant and sentenced to 11 years after she was found guilty of the charges levelled against her.

Juliet, the founder of Pray Deliverance and Testimony Ministries International, appeared before a court presided over by Gweru Regional Magistrate, Mrs Pathekhile Msipa,  facing two counts of indecent assault and one count of aggravated indecent assault, all of which she earlier plead not guilty to.

She was found guilty of all three, however, after a full trial that revealed that she in fact molested a 32-year-old member of her congregation. The presiding judge said:

“The accused was the pastor of the complainant who placed her trust and faith in her and her prophecies. Instead of looking after her, she turned into her abuser and courts should give long custodial sentences to deter would-be offenders.”

The Prophetess was sentenced to two years for count one and two and nine years for count two and three.

She will, however, serve only nine years after two years were shaved off on the condition of good behaviour.

Mum Strips 12 Year Old Son Naked & Rapes Him

Published

on

A mum has been accused of stripping her 12-year-old son and raping him on their bed before warning him not to tell anyone.

Brittany Rouleau, 34, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault after her son told his now-guardian she attacked him in 2018.

The guardian alleged Roleau told the boy to strip naked as he sat on the bed they shared after he got out of the shower at their Witchita Falls home.

He then claims she asked the boy about masturbation as she was getting undressed before ordering him to take his clothes off and then raped him.

Rouleau allegedly then told the boy to “go clean himself up” after the incident, reports The Sun.

An affidavit claims the boy told police he then slept on the couch because he felt what had happened was wrong.

He alleged she told him he could “get in trouble” if he told anyone because “he accepted it.”

The boy claims his mum then told him not to tell anyone, and the child has kept quiet until he opened up about the incident to his now-guardian this year.

His guardian then brought the matter to the police, who repeated the allegations at Patsy’s House Child Advocacy Center.

Rouleau was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault and initially denied having forced intercourse with her son.

According to the Times Record News, Rouleau has allegedly now confessed to the crime and a former neighbour has come forward and claimed she told him she slept with her son two years ago.

Rouleau is being held at Wichita County Jail on a $100,000 bond and a court hearing is yet to be scheduled.

Coronavirus Death Toll Surpasses 800,000 Worldwide

Published

on

The global coronavirus death toll topped 800,000 on Saturday, as countries around the world urge citizens to follow precautionary measures.

According to data compiled by John Hopkins University, the United States is still the country with the most virus-related deaths, having tallied more than 176,000 fatalities as of this weekend. Brazil and Mexico trail the U.S. in recorded deaths with 114,250 and 59,610, respectively. Reuters calculates, on average, about 5,900 people are dying from the disease every 24 hours; that’s approximate 246 deaths per hour, or one death every 15 seconds.

These unsettling figures were reported just a day after the World Health Organization said it was hopeful that the pandemic would end sometime within the next couple of years, as researchers appear to be making progress in developing a vaccine.

“We have a disadvantage of globalization, closeness, connectedness, but an advantage of better technology, so we hope to finish this pandemic before less than two years,” WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said during a Friday conference in Geneva. “Utilizing the available tools to the maximum and hoping that we can have additional tools like vaccines, I think we can finish it in a shorter time than the 1918 flu.”

As of Saturday, at least 23,130,000 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus; more than 5,666,000 of those confirmed cases are from the U.S.

While accepting the Democratic presidential nomination, former vice president Joe Biden slammed Donald Trump’s handling of the pandemic, claiming he could’ve done more to protect American lives.

“Our current president has failed in his most basic duty to the nation. He’s failed to protect us. He’s failed to protect America,” Biden said on the fourth and final night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention. “… The choice could not be more clear. No rhetoric is needed. Just judge this president on the facts.

Five million Americans infected by COVID-19. More than 170,000 Americans have died. The tragedy of where we are today is it didn’t have to be this bad. Just look around. It’s not this bad in Canada or Europe or Japan or almost anywhere else in the world.”
